The Jest from Stirring” speaks to the first playful tremor that rises when form meets motion. A scarf, by nature, is a simple piece of cloth — yet when lifted, shaken, and draped, it becomes alive, caught between necessity and expression. The stirring is the body’s shiver in the cold, the breeze tugging at the edges, the hand’s small adjustment as it settles into place. The jest is how this simple gesture transcends utility — a light play with fabric that offers warmth, protection, and a fleeting dance with the wind.
What Jest Was Stirred From Shapen

The simple suggestion of a vacant of breeze was enough to suggest that movement would create a barrier from further intrusions and those days of cold that reach temperatures to touch the bones would relish at the thought of conservation of heat and those moments that wisp small bits of ethereal heat escape from the folds while clasped about the person would leave the right amount for the moments we carry forward

Angular Gander Scarf
The Angular Gander scarf is less about symmetry and more about a pointed glance—its geometry pushes the eye forward, suggesting both direction and divergence. The pattern creates sharp angles that guide the wearer’s form as though caught mid-turn, like a bird scanning its surroundings. Worn around the shoulders, the scarf doesn’t merely rest — it becomes an extension of motion, a fold of warmth that makes the act of wrapping oneself feel intentional, deliberate, and alive.
Stirring of Convergence
The Stirring of Convergence scarf embodies the moment where motion crystallizes into form. Its violet-grey lattice holds steady repetition, while the magenta and pale green lines surge through as pulses of renewal, guiding the eye to the center where pattern converges. Draped across the body, it becomes more than fabric — it is a channel of presence, a reminder that every movement carries the possibility of shaping and reshaping identity.
Zig of Resonance
The Zig of Resonance scarf emerges as a reminder that not all rhythms arrive as planned. Born from the attempt to align structure with precision, it revealed its own voice — a yellow zig threading through the lattice, alive with energy and improvisation. The olive and blue base sets the stage for this surprise current, a resonance that breaks through order to announce itself. Draped, it becomes more than fabric; it is the vibration of process made visible, a woven testament to the beauty of what appears when shaping stirs beyond intention.

The Form of Self to Change the Inanimate is more than a collection of hats — it is an exploration of how a simple head covering alters perspective. To place a garment on the head is to shift vision, to adjust awareness, and to invite a new frame of expression. The inanimate becomes animated, not only through movement but through the subtle modification of how the world is seen and experienced.
In these early years of PXCLS, each piece stands as both symbol and entry point. While the long-term goal is to reinvest into refined, enduring products that fully embody PXCLS standards, even now the designs speak to synergy — where structure, sensation, and vision converge to give voice to the prerogatives of the wearer. These coverings are not accessories; they are frameworks of identity, turning perspective into presence.

Form Lattice Hat
The PXCLS Form Lattice Hat extends the expose of The Form of Self to Change the Inanimate. Its tessellated red grid vibrates between stasis and movement, reminding the wearer that identity is the force that animates form. The adjustable strap marked PXCLS is not closure but stated form — the point where object yields to presence. Worn, it is no longer a cap; it is a framework animated by resonance.”
Structural Echo Hat
This cap embodies The Form of Self to Change the Inanimate. Its crown is wrapped in a repeating lattice of geometric echoes — a static framework when at rest, yet alive with rhythm once set in motion by the wearer. The striped brim grounds the design, bridging precision with flow, its fine green stitch lines marking presence and alignment.
